Logan's Run (1976)

IMDB
User Rating: 6.5/10 (4,617 votes)

It is 2274. Some type of holocaust has decimated the earth, and the survivors sealed themselves into a domed city near Washington, D.C. To maintain the population balance, the computers that run the city have decreed that all people must die at 30. This system is enforced by "sandmen" : black-clad police operatives who terminate (kill) "runners" (those who attempt to live beyond 30). Logan, a sandman, is sent on a mission to find "sanctuary," which is a code- word used by the master computer to describe what it believes is a place to which runners have been escaping. Logan begins to question the system he serves and after seeing for himself that there is life beyond the dome, he returns to destroy the computer.

The rightful king of England, the small babe with the purple pimpernel birthmark, has been usurped by the evil King Roderick. Only the Black Fox can restore the true king to the throne--and all he needs is the king's key to a secret tunnel. And while he's trying to steal it, someone has to change the king's diapers. The task falls to Hawkins, the gentlest member of the Fox's band. The Fox's lieutenant, Maid Jean, guards Hawkins and the babe while they travel, but when they meet the King's new jester on the road, they decide to initiate a daring plan for Hawkins to replace him, become an intimate at the court, and steal the key. So, humble Hawkins becomes Giacomo: the king of jesters and jester to the king. But things begin to get zany when the King's daughter falls for Giacomo, the King falls for Jean, people randomly sing what are supposed to be recognition codes, and a witch with very effective spells (and poison pellets) begins to interfere.

Singin' in the Rain (1952)

IMDB
8.5/10 (17,291 votes)

Glorious classic film musical. 1927: Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are the darlings of the silent silver screen. Offscreen, Don, aided by his happy-go-lucky friend and piano accompanist, Cosmo Brown, has to dodge Lina's romantic overtures, especially when he falls for chorus girl Kathy Selden. With the advent of sound in motion pictures, it is decided to turn Don and Lina's new film into a "talkie" and a musical at that. The only problem is Lina's voice, which mere words cannot describe. Thus, Kathy is brought on to dub her speaking and singing voice in secret, and Don's on top of the world. But then Lina finds out...

Rammstein - Live in Berlin (1999)

IMDB
User Rating: 9.4/10 (311 votes)

"Live aus Berlin" shows why Rammstein is one of the most powerful live bands ever. Rammstein's show is so wicked, strong, brutal and pyromaniacal it really blows up your mind. We all know that Jimi Hendrix burned up his guitar but Rammstein's vocalist Till Lindemann goes a little further by setting himself on fire. Fireworks, explosions and flames goes hand in hand with Rammstein's merciless music. It's a frightening experience but I have to admit that it does have that comical aspect too and band members are aware of that too.
Directed by:
Hamish Hamilton
Cast:
Till Lindemann .... Himself
Christoph Schneider .... Himself
Paul Landers .... Himself
Flake Lorenz .... Himself
Oliver Riedel .... Himself
Richard Kruspe .... Himself

*notes:
The dvd-version (this one) does not include Bück Dich. First rip I've spread on edonkey, late 1999. It's only 650MB because at that time 700MB cd's were not widely available yet. (yes, it's that old...:-) Still idioticaly widely spread, hahaha.
